A mutual fund is
a company that gathers money from many different individuals and
institutions, pools that money together, and invests it in stocks,
bonds, or even other mutual funds (and occasionally other things
too.) In return the mutual fund company is paid a fee that's a
percentage of all the money in the fund. |
